Senior Linux Engineer - Dublin CC

I have a really exciting opportunity for a Senior Linux Engineer to join one of Ireland's Technical success stories. They have grown so rapidly and become a multinational organisation well established within their nice sector of a highly competitive market.

This role will involve a lot of collaboration and communication across multiple teams regarding the planning, design and implementation of new infrastructure services. You'll be in close contact with the Network, Database, Application support and development teams to ensure on-going availability, scalability and security. You will also need to support the production environment and application services and be used to working in a high availability and high throughout environment.

It's a fantastic company where you'll get the freedom to implement new technologies and be the driving force behind innovation within the infrastructure department. They are at the cutting edge of technology within their sector of the market and are going from strength to strength.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Excellent Linux engineering experience (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
* Strong VMware skills.
* Excellent scripting and infrastructure-as-code skills.
* Experience with chef, puppet etc would be desirable.
* Openstack experience would be a real bonus.
* Experience with application service tools like tomcat, apache etc.
* Strong troubleshooting skills.
