Senior Java Developer - Contract

Excellent opportunity available with a leading financial services organisation who are about to begin a large scale cloud based integration project of a large scale application.
The company rely heavily on a piece of third party software which is being upgraded to a cloud version, your role will be to help with this new integration across the business which helps with various parts of the organisation.
It's a large scale project which you will work on from scratch as part of a small team with other developers.
The working environment is great, they encourage flexibility, casual dress and are very open to partial remote working (you need to be based in Ireland). Their offices are great, lots of space, tidy, modern canteen serving a wide variety, free car parking, approachable management (they don't like being called management!) etc. It's a good place

Desired Skills / Experience

* 5+ years Java development experience
* The ability to take ownership of features, drive architectures / standards and delivery quality code
* Strong JEE development experience - REST / SOAP etc. ideally up to speed with Java8 (not essential)
* A good understanding of performance, HA and distrusted architectures / systems is desired
* Exposure to Apache Camel or another ESB is nice have
* Experience with AWS / Azure, general expereince working in a cloud environment is desired
* Experience with various CI / CD and build tools
