Systems Admin/DevOps - Galway

I'm working with an small but highly innovative company based in Galway who are looking to expand their talented team due to a successful period and consistent business growth. It's a really interesting organisation with a free and enjoyable method of working. They encourage you to experiment and implement new tools and technologies and have a really relaxed working culture.

It's a small environment and you'll need to be able to show great flexibility with a broad skill set enabling you to collaborate with multiple teams and also be comfortable coordinating project work with other engineers based remotely.

This role will involve monitoring of servers and services, managing databases, network maintenance and troubleshooting any major issues. You'll also be working on multiple projects at any given time so organisation and the ability to prioritise mission critical work is deeply important.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Excellent Linux server admin skills.
* Strong SQL/NoSQL Database skills.
* Hands on automation and CI/CD skills.
* Exposure to AWS is highly desirable.
* Excellent troubleshooting.
* Strong networking (routing, switching, firewalls etc).
* Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes would be a bonus.
