Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Cork

My client, a leader in the financial services arena are currently seeking to make an experienced hire by adding a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to the team. They are seeking an ambitious candidate that will look after both internal & external aspects of cyber security.

A key aspect of this role will be liaising with the relevant parties ensuring that the cyber security standards and procedures are up to date and followed. This will be both creating new and updating the existing documentation.

You will work with the compliance team assisting in the security audits and act as a subject matter expert on web application security. Not only will you be delivering the security awareness training you will employ specific techniques to ensure the security of the company and client property e.g. phishing, testing.

Senior Cyber Security Engineer Requirements:

* Degree in computer science or similar field
* 3-5 years experience in the cyber security field
* Familiarity of the security landscape and upcoming threats
* Experience working with Software teams and assisting in the delivery
* Knowledge of OWASP Top 10
* IPS/IDS would be good
* Experience in Security Information and Event Management
* Strong understanding of Cyber Security Compliance
