Duties and responsibilities:
* Demonstrate knowledge of advanced system-level technology and development process
* Coordinating product development across multiple disciplines and BD locations
* Serve as a key resource to examine system behaviour issue and bring resolution for existing products
* Provide technical support to a wide range or system level problems pertaining to specific programs and projects
* Clearly communicating information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
* Making customers/stakeholders and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive business relationships
* Setting high goals for personal and group accomplishment; Pushing oneself and others to exceed performance goals and standards
* Establishing courses of action and plans for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently
* Consistently apply systems engineering techniques such as requirements synthesis, use case modelling, traceability, risk management, verification and validation, product architecture etc.
Experience:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) ideally in Biomedical, mechanical, electrical, electronics, software or systems engineering
* Demonstrable track record in professional work experience
* Ability to work in a team or individually with global collaboration
* Experience in DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) knowledge and experience is preferred
* Experience with Requirements Management tools (DOORS, TFS, etc.) is desirable
* Knowledge of model based design methods and understanding agile development methodologies are desirable
* Strong technical writing skills, producing specifications and test procedures, and;
* Experience in Systems Engineering, architectural design and/or project management.
