Our client, a leading financial services company requires an Information Security Lead. You will have day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of Information Security ensuring appropriate levels of security are in place across the organisation, including regulatory compliance and adherence to industry best practices.
You will be an experienced Information Security Specialist with some experience in take a lead role or even manager, with the credibility to consult senior management regarding cybersecurity and other data security threats.
Responsibilities:
· Take ownership of the Information Security System, Documentation & Controls
· Cybersecurity - work with Head of IT to ensure IS security systems are maintained & aligned with Group strategy
· Reporting on IS risks & threats
· Manage daily IT security incidents, reviews, pen testing plans
· Risk Management
· Provide technical expertise and advise change approval board on IT security
· Conduct IT security audits with external vendors
Experience & skillset required:
* Degree or Masters in Computer Science or other science or engineering discipline
* Extensive experience in a hands-on Information Security role, having acted as IS Officer, IS Lead or Manager
* Expert knowledge of cyber security technologies, IT security policies and security control processes
* Expertise with cloud security (MS Azure) is highly desirable
* CISSP, CISM (or similar qualifications) highly desirable
* managing multiple complex cyber-security solutions and projects
* Strong knowledge of information risk analysis and management
* Understanding of relevant legislation & regulations (such as GDPR) and international standards
Salary: €60-65K + excellent bonus + benefits
