Field Service Engineer - Galway
Salary €35-45,000 DOE

My client is looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer. You will be joining a company that prides themselves on career progression and within the team enthusiasm will be rewarded. You will be joining a well know managed services company that has a diverse customer base allowing to get exposure across multiple industries.
This opportunity will give you the chance to work in a fast paced environment and manage your time/day giving you the freedom to manage your own business. The role will require you to design and deliver practical solutions to each customer.
Requires Full Clean Driving Licence.
What you will do:
* Both technical onsite and remote support to all customers.
* Monitoring and support the cloud infrastructure internally & externally.
* Act a point of escalation to support issues.
What you will have:
* Proven experience working as a field engineer (4-5 years)
* Experience working with Windows server (2008 & above) along with virtualisation in VMware, Hyper V or similar.
* Technical knowledge & experience in network server diagnostics & resolutions.
* Understanding of Security best practices and firewalls
* LAN/WAN design, implementation & configuration experience.
* Email configuration
* Understanding of the cloud (AWS, AZURE)
* Professional certification's MCSE, MCSA, MCITP (2008 & above)
* Cisco certifications are desirable.
