Key Responsibilities
* Design and architect solutions, enhancements and BAU activities - with the primary focus on our Sitecore based solutions
* Consult with colleagues and clients to establish appropriate solution approaches
* Supervise and coach developers within a domain
* Manage, build and perform code release implementations to development, test and live environments
* Lead the development and governance of digital software development standards, methodologies and tools
* Solicit and translate requirements into tangible solutions, understanding how they fit into the broader enterprise context and longer term roadmaps
* Act as the bridge between architecture standards, technology and project-specific requirements
* Develop and continuously improve application and system policies, templates and guidelines that enable project delivery
* Work with other technology functions to enhance existing and develop new application standards
* Provide technical leadership to developers and wider team through development of best practice and coaching/mentoring
* Deliver technical presentations to the wider technical and business teams
Qualifications:
* Expert understanding of the Sitecore XP 8.x technology stack with strong architectural experience - with relevant exposure to integration with other platforms/systems
* Proven experience in shaping and delivering Sitecore XP 8.x solutions at enterprise scale
* Proven experience in estimating and delivering web and data based solutions using related technologies (.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, etc.)
* Experience with MVC, WebAPI, SQL, Mongo or xDB
* Strong experience with setting up Sitecore and implementing the following:
* External Search Providers (Solr, Azure Search)
* Sitecore Reporting, Analytics
* Sitecore DMS Personalisation
* TDS / Unicorn
* Fortis / GlassMapper
* Knowledge and experience with GIT (GitFlow / GitDMZ)
* Working with CRMS and integrating into Sitecore (MS Dynamics / Salesforce)
* Hands-on experience and knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies
* Sitecore Certified v8+
