Deskside Support Engineer required for permanent position by leading Financial Services provider in south Dublin. The successful Deskside Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Desktop operating systems and general maintenance of IT-related hardware/software. What will you do?

• Provide onsite deskside support to internal users
• Install, upgrade and repair IT equipment
• Provide software break/fix services and replacement
• Configure and support end users on mobile computing platforms
• Assist users in accessing LAN, print, and file services; connection to WAN
• Provide on-site hardware support for general troubleshooting

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a similar role - deskside, desktop, field support, IT Engineering
• Windows Server - Active Directory, Exchange
• Windows OS troubleshooting
• Network support - WAN, LAN
• Remote access - VPN, Citrix, etc.
• Hardware device installation and support
• Mobile devices such as Blackberry’s, iPhones and iPads desirable
