System Support Engineer - Cork

Our Dublin based client is currently seeking a System Support Engineer to join their IT team. You will be joining an innovative practice, that truly enjoy working with cutting edge technology.
You will be working with members of the software team, NOC team ensuring that the appropriate configurations and upgrades are adhered too. You will be part of the escalation team ensuring outages are sorted in a timely manner and then put in place preventative measures to prevent a reoccurrence.
Systems Support Engineer:
* Degree in an IT related field
* Knowledge of IT Networks & Systems
* Understanding of automating a professional environment
* Network Concepts (TCP/IP, VPN)
* Tools: Microsoft Server, SQL Server Management studio
* Knowledge of software programming would be great
* Experience in Energy Innovation would be ideal
