I am looking for an IT Support Manager based in Dublin. This role comes with a lot of flexibility. You would have the option of working from home but a shared office is available if required.


The following skill sets are required:


Windows Server 2003 and 2008 (2016 but optional)

-         Active Directory (Add, Edit, Delete, Group Policy)  - Level: High

-         TCP/IP Printers (Add, Edit, Delete, Troubleshooting) - Level: Medium

-         Windows Folder Shares (Folder Share and Security Knowledge)  - Level: High

-         Windows Task Schedule Jobs (Add, Edit, Delete)  - Level: Low

-         General Troubleshooting (Event Viewer and Reading app logs) - Level: High

-         Migration from 2003 to 2018 or 2016 Windows servers - Level: Medium

Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2016

-         New SQL Database creation. - Level: High

-         SQL Maintenance Jobs creation for backups. - Level: Medium

-         Basic troubleshooting of databases. - Level: Low

Windows Remote Desktop Service (RDS) 2003 and 2008 (2016 but optional)

-         End-User Remote Desktop Client configuration.  - Level: High

-         Remote Desktop Server User Shadowing to provide support. - Level: Medium

-         General Remote Desktop Knowledge. - Level: High

-         Remote Desktop User Profile Knowledge. - Level: Medium


-         General Knowledge in TCP/IP networking. - Level: High

-         IPSec Site-2-Site VPN Tunnels (creation, edit, delete, logging, troubleshooting)  - Level: Medium

-         IPSec VPN Access list implementation - Level: Medium

-         Network troubleshooting toward End-User Network. (ping, tracert, logging, troubleshooting)  - Level: Medium

-         Familiar with Cisco ASA and Zyxel USG routers. - Level: Medium
