Red Chair Recruitment is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to work within our client’s technical delivery team in Cork City.

Daily Checks:

• Analysis, design, implementation and support of JEE based applications
• Produce high quality, clean and efficient code adhering to agreed standards
• Mentor and coach junior team members
• Team member delivering user stories within product sprints
• Technical troubleshooting and problem solving
• Prepare and approve technical documentation

What you will need:

• At least 8 years Java / JEE development experience
• Strong architecture and design experience
• Experience in high transaction, low latency systems
• Experience working with Microservice Architectures
• Strong database design and implementation experience
• Experience of working within an agile development framework – SCRUM
• Strong UNIX knowledge
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
