Warehouse/On-Site Technician

Job Purpose
* Work as part of an on-site field team to deliver a wide variety of IT data eradication services from the ITRenew ITAD Ireland portfolio.
* Activities will include data erasure, decommissioning, asset management, secure shredding, site surveys and general warehouse activities when not on client site projects.
* To complete activities in the field, Warehouse/On-site Technicians will be required to hold a varied range of technical expertise and an extensive understanding of IT hardware technologies, with the ability to provide troubleshooting and contingency solutions in a customer environment.
* Warehouse/On-site Technicians will be required to be fluent in both internal and external software applications to be able to support on site activities and reporting requirements when out in the field.
* When not deployed to a project all Warehouse/On-site Technicians will be expected to fulfil the roll of a warehouse technician and report to Operations Supervisor for daily erasure, asset management, this includes the processing and monitoring of project stock as well as providing support and training for less experienced technicians and providing specialist knowledge to support and develop departmental activities.
Key skills:
* Experience in Data Centre deployment and building scaling infrastructure.
* Experience in any of the following specific areas: Network installation and troubleshooting, Mass storage installation and maintenance, Data Destruction and repair of Hard Drives.
* Experience working with server/network hardware.
* Ability to deal in a calm and focused way with conflicting demands and manage multiple priorities within competing deadline to ensure positive outcomes.
* Ability to work independently on assigned projects and tasks.
* Ability to lift/move 30-40 lbs on a daily basis.
* Knowledge of the requirements of Health and Safety legislation.
* Demonstrates commitment to remaining customer focused and performance oriented, in order to deliver the service to the highest standards.
* Be able to pass a full background check at county/ Federal and National level.
