Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Innovation Project Manager to play a vital role within the Innovation Lab of a leading financial services organisation based in Dublin City Centre. The role will report to the Head of the Innovation Lab and be responsible for management of the portfolio of early stage innovative initiatives ongoing within the Dublin team.
Experience of Agile Project Management principles, test driven development approaches and the ability to suggest innovative solutions to challenges are needed.
Responsibilities
* Managing the end to end delivery of new and innovation digital products.
* Apply a blend of agile methodologies and waterfall with the product, design and development teams.
* Provide efficient and accurate communication upstream and downstream.
* Manage & report on project performance including monitoring, risk, issues, dependencies, budget, project resources and milestones.
* Manage projects from initial stages in the innovation process through to successful delivery.
Experience Required
* Agile Software Development experience such as Kanban and Scrum.
* Experience in project managing mobile applications development, web development and machine learning a distinct advantage.
* Experience supporting and/or leading complex operational and strategic initiatives, working closely with global stakeholders at all levels to achieve impact.
* Track record of effectively managing and delivering against multiple projects simultaneously in very fast-moving environment.
* Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgement.
* Background in financial services ideal.
* Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, in client facing roles.
* The ability to thrive in an innovative and ambiguous working environment.
* Experience in bringing people along the project or innovation journey and ability to create buy in from stakeholders and create excitement downstream and upstream.
