DevOps Software Engineer

The Role:

This is an exciting role with an exciting company working on the intersection of AI and machine vision. They’re looking for software engineers to join their team who understand DevOps and how to build and deploy large-scale, highly distributed, and extremely reliable services. You’ll be using the latest cloud services and techniques to build world-class applications. You’ll have developed code that’s been deployed to the cloud and used extensively. This role is for someone who loves writing code and knows how to do it.

The Requirements:

• You must be eligible to live and work in Ireland on application
• You should at least 5 years’ industry experience in OOD using languages like Java, C++, Python, etc.
• You should have demonstrable experience implementing large-scale, highly reliable and scalable systems
• You’ll have experience working with SCMs (e.g., Git, …), and DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, …
• You should have experience with AWS and/or Azure or major public cloud platforms
• You should have full and extensive SDLC experience with exposure to CI/Jenkins and Agile methods
• For you, Site Reliability is non-negotiable and baked into everything you do
• You should be educated to a Degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
