We have an exciting opportunity in Cork for an experienced professional to join a large multinational tech company as an IT Security Operations Analyst. Head quartered in California the company have went from strength to strength and doubled over the past 2 years in Cork.
The main purpose of the role is to continually monitor the IT Security events which include vulnerability and incident management. You will be working directly with the Cyber Security Architect, in a team of 13 assisting in the information security events, implement policies and follow up on all security investigations.
You will be monitoring all the company's infrastructure improving the security posture and working closely with the global SOC team.
IT Security Operations Analyst Requirements:
* 5 years experience working in IT and 3-5 within IT Security
* Knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux
* Experience with vulnerability management and incident handling
* Background in SIEM and ticketing solutions
* Relevant professional certifications are a plus
* Strong knowledge of IT Security technologies or compliance
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with individuals across the organisation
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* A genuine interest of internal security and assessing them, finding faults and remediating them
