Our client was established 40 years ago and is a leading provider of innovative Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) and Hotel Reservation Systems. They serve a range of high profile customers in the hospitality and retail sectors based throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
As they develop the next version of their exciting POS application and web-based back end, they require a Lead Developer to join them and oversee this project.

You’ll be using some great tech and taking hands-on responsibility for the coding, making this the right role in which to advance, grow and take on more.
As the Lead Developer, you will lead development efforts for the new version of our client’s POS application and back end.
You’ll lead and grow the Development Team and will have a lasting impact upon the development function as a whole, whilst seeing your code used in production all across the UK and Ireland.
This is an Agile development team that operates across the software development lifecycle and includes the design, implementation and unit testing of software.
Interested? If so, you will need:
- At least five years’ post graduate development experience
- Full development lifecycle experience including Requirements, Design, Development and Testing
- Previous experience of relational database design and development (MySQL or SQL Server)
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework with WPF
Organised and team-focused, as the Lead Developer, you’ll need strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills. The ability to work on your own initiative will be key, as will an accurate approach and the ability to work to deadlines and milestones.
Experience using RDB Optimisation techniques would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of using and developing with Entity Framework. Experience developing using MVC and MVVM patterns would be equally favourable, as would experience using Bootstrap Framework.
