Chemical Engineer
Project / Role:
Our client is expanding and recruiting world class talent in their quest to become a global player in the biostimulant and nutraceutical sectors. They are currently recruiting a Chemical engineer, who will work on process development and scale-up for our new production facility in Tralee, Co. Kerry.
Main Tasks:
* Perform mathematical calculations for various processes involving flow dynamics and energy calculations.
* Design production-scale equipment based on procedures developed at lab scale.
* Identify and interact with potential suppliers for various manufacturing/lab instruments.
* Review existing processes for efficiency and make changes to achieve same.
Requirements:
* Three years industrial experience in a food, pharma, natural products or bulk chemical industry.
* Knowledge of chemistry and experience in scale-up of lab processes to production scale is an added advantage.
* Knowledge of CAD and solid works.
* Knowledge of computers and operations is an advantage.
* Personal attributes:
- Numerate,
- Strong decision making and time management skills.
Education:
* Bachelor or Masters in Chemical Engineering.
Languages:
* Excellent Level of English
