UI/UX DESIGNER
The lead UI Designer is a hands on role that will require strong leadership combined with the ability to build a strong team and develop strong relationship with different stakeholders across the business. We are looking for an experienced designer who has worked through the UI/UX lifecycle from research through to testing, utilising all elements of a user centred design process to innovate the cross-platform experience. Along with the Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for the UI/UX teams’ strategy and will work closely with different stakeholders across the business to deliver UI/UX initiatives.
The right candidate will need to have a clear understanding of the fundamentals behind great UX and design to deliver a customer-centric engaging experience. Key stakeholders will include; Design Team, Web Development, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Country Managers, Product owners, Retention Executives.
You will be responsible for:
• Setting goals, direction and strategy for the UI
• Define UI/UX KPIs to measure success and identify opportunities
• Establish a UI workflow across the team and stakeholders
• Taking a holistic view across the business. Establish a strong sense of identity of who UI/UX are and what they bring to the business
• Managing multiple UI/UX projects across different areas of the business, and leading as the liaison point for stakeholders, with your team and management
• Implement UX principles, advocate user-centered design and usability across the business by sharing knowledge and experience across teams
• User research and persona development

Most important:
• 5+ years delivering design solutions as a UI designer
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Proficiency with Sketch
• Experience using UI prototyping tools
• Strong attention to details
• Digital eCommerce Experience
• A digital design degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong portfolio which demonstrates a passion for design and delivery
• Experience running UI/UX projects from initiation to delivery
• Stakeholder management experience. Working with different stakeholders including senior management
• Excellent presentations skills
• Multi-platform UI/UX design experience
• Demonstrate clear understanding of the fundamentals behind UX and UI for both web and mobile
• Highly organised with the capability to multi-task and priorities to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
