At Kx Dublin we’re looking for passionate and driven Front-End Web Developers to create the next generation of data visualisation software.

We specialise in visualising and interacting with data for a diverse range of clients around the world, including leading financial institutions, space agencies, sports gaming, pharmaceutical and utility conglomerates.

We enjoy solving the challenges that come with translating high-volume, real-time data into intuitive visual interfaces that inform and empower our clients’ decision-making.

Our ideal candidate can build robust web applications while also appreciating good design and the user experience, and is enthusiastic about working with others to find the best possible solution.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong programming ability and working knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS and Web Services (a demo or portfolio is ideal).

• Experience of Javascript frameworks (React, Angular, Backbone etc), design patterns and build systems.

• Is a technology enthusiast! Interested and engaged in the community.

• Enjoys problem solving and appreciates an elegant solution.

Bonus Points

• Experience with technologies like Typescript, SASS, Node, RESTful web services, Gulp, Jenkins CI, Java, Python, Bash, Socket Programming, Visual Studio, Adobe Photoshop, kdb+, MongoDB, MySQL.

• Visual design experience, understanding of user experience and responsive design.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as QUnit, Selenium, Nightwatch, Mocha.

• Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Trac, GitHub or Subversion.

• Linux server administration: shell scripting, web server configuration, Tomcat, nginx.
