Description
California is the home to this software company that offer cloud based solutions and for 2018 they have exciting plans to expand this set up with their newly established offices in Dublin. They operate one of the biggest cloud networks in the world and they currently have an immediate need for Senior Network Engineers to manage their global network.
You will be based in Dublin city centre and will be some of the first additions to the team which will grow to 35 by December.
They are keen to speak with anyone that wants to progress their career further, they have initiatives for leaders, people who want to specialise and will give you the freedom to explore and push the boundaries of technology.
The role involves aspects of design, troubleshooting and automation. You will be a part of the cloud services team and you will report directly to the EMEA Cloud Manager.
What you need:
* Solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, security and load balancing
* Datacentre and Internet network experience
* Working knowledge of automating tasks, incident response, operational management
* Hands-on experience with TCP/IP and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS
* DevOps tools and methodologies such as Ansible/Puppet/Git/Jenkins/etc.
* F5 knowledge
* Scripting experience with Python
* Strong attention to detail
* Linux/Unix system administration
