We are recruiting for a Principal Technical Architect to join our existing team located in the Warrington or Limerick office.
You'll work closely with the Product Management team and VP of Product Management to interpret and translate business requirements and will take responsibility for selecting the best technical solution to backbone these requirements, using the most appropriate products and technologies.
By monitoring the correct adoption of these technologies by the delivery team, you will ensure that the team understands the 'why' as well as the 'how' of the chosen technology. This will include hands on coding as required to be able to prove and demonstrate how the technology should be used, as well as to resolve any issues with implementation.
You will also be required to contribute as required to keeping the business fully informed of the direction of the product, the functionality being delivered and how\when that will be delivered

You have:
* Proven experience of working into a senior/leadership level
* Strategic mindedness with a view on future strategy, balanced with tactical delivery, at all times
* Java Software development
* Spring (Core, Security, Batch, Boot, MVC, AOP),
* Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, Ember JS)
* Unix / Windows (including scripting)
* Databases - DB2 I and LUW, Oracle, MySql, SQL, Hibernate, MyBatis
* WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat
* Web Services - REST / SOAP
* Hazelcast
* Extensive software development & solution architecture experience
* Up to date knowledge of current and future technology trends which may be beneficial to the organisation
* Extensive experience of enterprise-level systems
