Senior Systems Administrator in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Based in Bray, Bluemetrix are currently looking for a Systems Administrator in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing plant.

The successful candidate must have the following:

·         A BS Computer Science Degree with 5 years relevant experience or MSc with 3 years

·         The ability to work well within a team

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         The ability to cultivate effective business relationships with internal customers

·         A willingness to take on responsibility if/when other team members become unavailable

·         Self-motivated and capable of working on own initiative

·         Experience in pharmaceutical and FDA/GMP regulated environments and ITILv3 foundation would be a distinct advantage

Responsibilities:

·         Act as single point of contact for all IT issues on site

·         Technical Lead role on non-IT department software projects

·         Lead and manage IT department projects

·         Write procedures and policies to meet FDA and Corporate Governance audit requirements

·         Manage and maintain servers, desktops, printers in a Virtualised MS Windows AD & Citrix environment

·         System Administration from deployment through patching, monitoring, documenting throughout the full system lifecycle

·         Desktop computing and general IT support required in both S/W and H/W

Working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm
