Project Coordinator
Project / Role:
Our client is one of the largest electrical supply stores in Ireland. They are currently looking for a Project Coordinator.
This is an exciting role and a key position within the Electronics Department. The successful candidate will join a team of motivated and focused engineers, having responsibility for providing day-to-day administrative/business support.
The successful candidate will join a team of motivated and focused engineers, having responsibility for providing day-to-day administrative/business support including, the coordination, monitoring and dissemination of project plans, progress and opportunities, within our client's Heating and Ventilation Division.
Main Tasks:
* Setup of project plans and structures;
* Develop, evolve and manage standard operating procedures (SOP);
* Coordinate project teams and facilitate communication both internally and externally;
* Keep up-to-date information on project progress, ensuring project keeps to objectives,
milestones, deliverables, timescale and within budget;
* Identifying and managing risks and conflicts;
* Work closely with the technical teams and product owners to ensure all scheduled tasks are on time and within budget;
* Develop, evolve, manage and update the R&D server/cloud portal to facilitate the storage and dissemination of project related information;
* Collate, edit and prepare periodic reports for key stake holders;
Requirements:
* Experience of working in a dynamic project environment;
* Experience in drafting reports;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Excellent time management and planning skills;
* Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure while managing multiple competing projects and priorities;
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload, making best of use time and tackling problems as they arise;
* Ability to effectively manage information by seeking, organising, evaluating and analysing information to facilitate decision making and problem solving, and to influence others;
* Ability to work on your own initiative;
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Packages;
* Available for international project related travel.
Nice to Haves(s)
* Experience using Project Management Software;
* Recognised Project Management Qualification;
* Previous experience in working with multidisciplinary teams;
* Experience working on international projects.
Education:
* Third level education preferably in a business or engineering discipline;
Languages:
* Excellent Level of English
