I have an exciting opportunity in Cork for an experienced professional to join a large multinational tech company as an IT Compliance Lead of the EMEA region. Head quartered in California the company have went from strength to strength and doubled over the past 2 years in Cork.
Overall a fun company to work for with an open plan office onsite canteen, lounge, gaming station, table tennis and showers if you fancy a run at lunch! You will having flexiable working hours and after time will be rewarded with the odd day working from home!
The main purpose of the role is to lead on IT Security policies required by the business and report on risks and ensure the effectiveness of the already in place security controls. You will be identifying and implementing new actions where the controls are not working effectively.
Working closely with GRC Manager and other departments, the role will be responsible for conducting reviews and internal audits of the cyber/information security controls on a technical level whilst managing all third party relationships. At least 80% of your time will be dedicated to SOX compliance.
This is a lead role and will require you to work independently while managing your time and projects.
IT Security & Compliance Requirements:
* 2- 5 years experience working in a similar position
* Experience reviewing and contributing to SoX reports
* Background in maintaining IT Controls
* CISA or CISSP would be desirable
* Strong knowledge of IT audit methodologies and tools
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with individuals across the organisation
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* A genuine interest of internal security and assessing them, finding faults and remediating them
