Organisational Environment:
Netfocus IT Solutions is a managed service provider with offices in Naas and Galway. We support, monitor and maintain IT systems for our client base using remote management and professional services automation tools. This position is based in our Naas office and is a mix of 80% remote support and 20% on-site. You will report directly to the technical director and work with the service delivery team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Configuring and managing backup (performing restores, monitoring integrity)
Following procedures and guidelines to install, patch, configure, customize, troubleshoot, upgrade, integrate, secure, and maintain systems
Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading corporate networks and servers.
Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications
Support and administer third-party applications
Ensure network security and connectivity
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency)
Log support calls with third-party vendors
Troubleshooting email delivery
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
Key skills
Hands-on experience with UTM Firewalls (Sonicwall) – routing, UTM policies, IPSec VPN setup
Hands-on experience with network devices (managed Ethernet switches, ISP routers)
Experience maintaining VMware and Hyper-V infrastructures
Fluency in configuring and maintaining Windows Server services (DFS, DNS, AD DS, DHCP, ADFS, Printing)
Experience with managed AV solution (Trend Micro WFBS or Officescan)
Knowledge of email flow (SFP, NDR troubleshooting)
Experience with Cloud solutions - Office 365, Azure and Dynamics 365
Experience with enterprise class backup solutions (Backup Exec, Azure Recovery Agent)
Experience with Lync/Skype for Business
Experience with MS SQL Server
Good knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android, Windows)
Working knowledge of MDM platforms (InTune)
Administration of monitoring tools (LogicNow, Pusleway)
PowerShell or command line scripting
