JAVA Technical Architect

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Java Technical Architect to help define the future direction of their product. You’ll be working with the latest developments in building high-performance, highly available software for deployment to public and private clouds. You’ll have a demonstrable track-record in building software products over a number of releases and working with all elements of the product lifecycle, working seamlessly with all stakeholders from Product Management to aftersales support.

Requirements

• You must be eligible to live and work in Ireland on application
• You should have at least 10 years’ industrial experience with Java and Linux
• You should have at least five years’ experience in an architectural or senior design role
• You should have extensive experience of Java Frameworks, (particularly Spring)
• You should have experience of defining and building Web Service APIs using REST/SOAP and/or microservices
• You should have experience with as many as the following as possible: ESXi, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, OpenStack, KVM, XEN
• You must be educated to at least an Honours Degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
