Senior .NET Developer
itContracting are delighted to be partnering with our client, a highly prestigious organisation based in Dublin city centre, in the hiring of a Senior .NET Developer to provide development expertise across their web estate and applications and to work on integrations of the web-based management information system.
Responsibilities and experience:
* You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Software Development position working primarily with .NET frameworks
* Able to consistently produce well-designed, secure, efficient and scalable code
* Assume a mentor position for more junior developers
* Proven experience designing and developing software solutions utilising ASP.NET, C#, RESTful web services, Visual Studio, TFS and SQL. Additional experience with VB.NET would be beneficial
* Good experience in database technologies and preferably database design with MS SQL
* Good experience with other web technologies and languages, including HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and ideally KendoUI or equivalent
* Additional knowledge of UI/UX design principles, Oracle databases, PL/SQL, MySQL and PHP would be an advantage
