We are looking to appoint a talented Consultant to work delivering, driving and managing our Training portfolio. The person will report into a Senior Manager in the International Delivery Team with a dotted line to the Head of Professional Services. 

Key duties and responsibilities include:

·         Close liaison with our the stream Marketing team who along with local sales and marketing teams will be responsible for driving the growth of the CSIR training business

·         Define and continuously improve our Information Security and Privacy / Data Protection training portfolio

·         Continuously work with local training admin staff to improve the organisation and quality of our training delivery

·         Delivering 100 days per year course. The courses are primarily in the Information Security and Privacy / Data Protection area

·         Continuously review and optimise the training portfolio matrix

·         Managing and reviewing the CSIR qualified trainers and training vendor relationships / contracts

About you

You’ll likely have a third level qualification in an IT, Audit, Data Protection or Security with some further education and certifications.

Background in Information Security, Risk, Data Protection and / or IT audit preferred although not essential.

You’ll be an innovative thinker with strong organisational skills and project management principles / experience.

You’ll be capable of working to revenue, profit and quality targets whilst driving the training portfolio forward.

You will be an experienced trainer and understand the training lifecycle from sales to optimal delivery.

Interpersonal skills are a must, with the proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within BSI and externally with clients, trainers and partners. 

You’ll likely have a minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in an Information Security, IT Audit or Risk field.

You should be IAPP CIPP/E & CIPM certified.

You should hold certification in one or more of the following or equivalent;

·         Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)

·         Certified Information System Manager (CISM)

·         Certified Information and Information Systems Control (CRISC)

·         Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

·         ISO 27001 Internal / Lead Auditor

·         Risk Management Certification

·         Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) 

·         Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) 

The holder of the role will focus their duties on the delivery and development of training CSIR courses as an integral element of the BSI CSIR service portfolio.
