Are you a life science graduate looking to embark on an engaging career? Could you become an expert in software used by clinical laboratories across the world? If so, our client wants to hear from you. 
Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a Software Specialist to join their team in Crumlin. 
Within a fast-paced and engaging environment, you’ll have the chance to significantly increase your skill-set, become a product expert in innovative software and work with a highly-skilled team.  
As a Software Specialist, you will provide training, support and guidance to employees that sell our client’s scientific QC (Quality Control) software. 

Clinical laboratories from around the globe use our client’s software to help maintain the highest standards. In this key role, you’ll ensure that representatives and distributors are able to fully utilise software, enabling them to effectively promote the application to laboratories. 
Specifically, you will: 
- Deliver in-house bespoke training to representatives and distributors of the software 
- Troubleshoot any software installation, configuration and maintenance issues 
- Travel to deliver training to representatives and distributors 
- Carry out data analysis and interpret reports regarding technical queries 
- Perform a range of administrative duties 
Interested? To be considered, you will need a degree at grade 2:1 or above in a life science related discipline (or equivalent). Excellent time-management and organisational skills are also key. 
As a Software Specialist, you’ll have great presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to learn new information quickly. You’ll also have an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. 
Previous IT support, installation and/or troubleshooting experience would be beneficial to your application.
