The new GDPR law is a paradigm shift in how Organisations collect and use Consumer data in the EU and will force all organisations, large and small, to comply with very strict rules when collecting consumers data or face fines up to €20m. CDP are preparing to launch a new state of the are technology solution, that incorporates the best available security, architecture, availability, scalability, simplicity of use using best practice UX and UI etc to be the market leader in all EU countries.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer who has a good mix of UI design and javascript programming.
The ideal candidate will be passionate and opinionated about user experience and keen to play a larger role in overall product development (we see the UI & UX as key factors in the success of any good product).
Core responsibilities will include planning and production of a modern UI/UX design as well as the conversion of this design to efficient, modular code. You will work closely with the platform teams to ensure the apporiate APIs are available to achieve the UI/UX goals
What you will do:
o Working directly with platform and API teams.
o Build reusable code, libraries and HTML templates for future use.
o Development and maintainence of the frontend application.
o Cross-browser & Cross-device UI
o Unit testing and automated end-to-end UI testing scripts
What you need:
o A degree in Computer Science or related IT degree
o Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML front end development
o Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and modern Javascript.
o Proficiency with CSS pre-processors (e.g. LESS, SASS) and built tools (e.g. Gulp, Grunt)
o Experience with one or more javascript libraries/frameworks: AngularJS, Reactjs, or Backbone.js
o Experience integrating web apps with RESTful APIs.
o Strong knowledge of responsive design and development.
o Comfortable with version control system such GIT or Mercurial.
