Senior Systems Engineer – 50K – Louth

Our client are looking for Senior Systems Engineer primarily to manage and work as technical lead on infrastructure projects in all areas of the company systems. The Senior Systems Engineer is expected to report to the CTO and take responsibility for providing design, install and handover services (to IT and business) for new infrastructure systems. The role will involve working with support as well, you will provide 3rd level support for any support issues that arise.
The Role
- As Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for technical lead on infrastructure projects
- You will be responsible for the design of new systems, draws in resources as required from IS team to complete projects
- It is expected that you as Senior Systems Engineer will have responsibility for all Server systems for Microsoft Infrastructure (Exchange, AD, DNS, File Services), as well for all Linux deployments
- Knowledge of Vmware virtualisation environments, SAN infrastructure and Datacentre hardware and facilities
- The ideal Senior Systems Engineer will work with continuous improvement of existing Infrastructure systems within the company
- Also you will evaluate new products and trends and their applicability for the company core business.
- You will Support, Design and Build of anti-DDOS systems

- Ability to react quickly to changes, problems and new requirements
