TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client in Dublin City Centre, is seeking application for a Java Developer - Principle role.
Your role will be to work within their Engineering team, working on a large/wide range of complex problems. You will be a hands-on developer with excellent Java expertise and with some exposure to C++ Development also on Linux platforms.
The role will require you to have experience in building scalable applications within an agile development methodology framework along with test/unit test and producing quality code.
Skills Required
- Third Level Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- 8+ years Java Development
- Experience using Spring/Spring Security/Spring MVC
- RESTful web services
- JUnit
- SVN and/or Git
- AngularJS, JQuery, HighCharts and/or Backbone
- Jenkins / Other CI Systems
- Crucible / Other code review tools
- Relational (MySQL) and NoSQL databases
- In depth experience in Linux environment with bash and/or python scripting.
- Knowledge of deploying, monitoring & performance tuning distributed/scalable applications.
- Agile Development experience (SCRUM)
- Test driven development, unit testing and code quality
