The successful engineer will be working across the full-stack, particularly focusing on the server-side, working with the newest, most exciting tools.
Tasks are exciting as this company have just rewritten their app in a really modern technology, so you will be helping shape the product, building new features, as well as maintaining the existing code base writing elegant, well-structured code.
Essential skills:
* 5+ years' experience in software development
* Expert knowledge of Javascript, Jquery, JSON and XML
* Experience in an Agile environment
* Understanding of fundamental design principles
* Previous experience with Continuous Integration Tools
* Experience designing and implementing APIs
* Understanding of Quality (automated testing)
Desirable skills:
* DevOps experience would be desirable but is not essential
* Motivated, enthusiastic developer who is eager to advance themselves
* Willingness to learn new technologies and work on challenging projects
The tech stack also includes NODE.JS, REACTNATIVE, REACT.JS and MongoDB, Docker, Redis, AWS, so experience with these technologies is obviously hugely advantageous, however, the company are very open-minded and welcome applications from different backgrounds as they want to ensure the successful applicant is adaptable and hungry to learn and advance their skill-set.
