My client is an award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner who are currently implementing a new growth strategy.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibility will be to drive new business sales through:
Identification of new opportunities and markets for the ERP Practice through market knowledge, relationships and the network and through targeted marketing campaigns, events and direct calling initiatives.
Working with partner’s technology and specialists.
Account Management and development of existing customer base, with a focus on public sector customers.
Preparation and delivery of presentations and solution proposals and the active management of the full sales cycle.
Contract negotiation covering license/hardware sales, consulting services, fixed price applications development and managed services contracts.
You will work closely with the existing private sector and ERP sales team members on a coordinated approach to maximise success and delivery for our customers.
Ideal person
Significant experience in the IT industry working in Sales and/or Account Management.
Experience of successfully selling ERP solutions
Experience of running bids and formal competitive procurement processes an advantage.
Experience of business development/sales processes, including the use of pilots, pre-sales, demonstrations and implementations.
A demonstrable understanding of the software development life cycle from envisioning to solution implementation to managed services.
A clear and demonstrable track record of sales with achievement of at least 3 out of the last 4 years on/exceeding target.
