Allen Recruitment is assisting a major international Financial Services company with a growing presence in Poland source an experienced IT Systems Engineer for their Krakow operation (joining a high-performance Market Data / Trading systems team).

Suitable applicants will likely be Systems Engineers / Infrastructure Engineers / DevOps Engineers with expertise planning, implementing and supporting Market Data / Trading Venue / Stock Exchange infrastructure.

Technical Expertise:

* Expertise in Linux / Unix
* Excellent Network Infrastructure and Security skills
* Experience implementing and supporting infrastructure for Trading Venues (Market Data and Stock Exchange platform/applications)
* Scripting, programming (desirable)
* Some experience of business requirement gathering - translating complex business needs to technical specifications
* Degree education (in a relevant technical discipline)
* Relevant certification

This team supports global customers - expect to be working with dispersed teams (business stakeholders, vendors, product owners, software development, test etc.). Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential.
