Technical Writer and Content Creator

Our client, based in the heart of Dublin’s tech district, is looking for a Technical Writer to join their growing team. Whilst the written word will be important, there’s also scope for creating some video content to get the point across, and the percentage of video content will only increase. As a picture is worth a thousand words, you’ll have some graphic design responsibility so clarity of thought in presenting information is also important.

The Requirements:

• You must be eligible to live and work in Ireland on application
• It hardly needs to be said, but you’ll be fluent in English with excellent abilities in expressing yourself in writing, speaking and visually
• You should extensive experience with MadCap Flare, DocBook, or a similar XML authoring toolset
• You’ll be great at managing deadlines, and juggling responsibilities
• You’ll have an understanding (and experience) of the SDLC, so requirements tracking, version control, and other tools
• Ideally, you’ll understand web development technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, etc.
• It would be advantageous if you have a good understanding of Web APIs including REST, SOAP and others
• You should be educated to a Degree level in Computer Science, Communications, English, or a similar discipline
