Technical Support Engineer - Electronics

Salary - €35-45,000 DOE

Job Role

My client, an award winning electronic security and access company are currently in the market for a Technical Support Engineer to join their Engineering Team in Dublin.

You will be joining a dynamic company and primarily responsible for the technical support to the security professionals. You will also get the chance to be hands on and assist in the development and testing of both hardware and software prototypes.
What you will have as a Technical Support Engineer :

* 2 years' experience working in a similar role
* A diploma, degree or similar working experience in electronic engineering
* Background in Electronics
* Ability to configure and diagnose IP Networks and access control
* Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office
* Good customer service skills
* Understanding of debugging and soldering electronic components and circuits
* Detailed documentation and report writing skills
* A background working in a security device company would be an advantage
