I'm currently assisting my client in the Midlands with finding some top quality Big Data Java Developers for their Analytics team. Here you will be working with large scale data processing and Analytics platforms.

This opportunity is for a seasoned Java Developer that has had commercial exposure to Big Data. Experience with Hadoop,Spark and/or Kafka is essential. This will suit someone who wants to work with the latest in technologies, but has a preference for living in a smaller city.

This is an Agile environment, where you will be expected to bring your own ideas to the table. You will pride yourself on your ability to produce clean code that will last for a long time.

Requirements:

+ 3 years commercial Java experience

Commercial experience with Spark,Hadoop and/or Kafka

*

REST Web Services

*

3rd Level IT Degree

*

Experience of working in an Agile environment
