Role

This position sits within the internal support function for this global organisation. You will be a member of their Infrastructure Team, providing support to users both locally and internationally.

Job Duties

*You will be managing and monitoring the IT Infrastructure and Services
*You will be work on installation, testing and upgrading of software and hardware
*Troubleshooting and repairs to computers/phone/peripherals/application and Operating systems
*Server Administration, storage backups
*Configuration of VMware Environments

Skills Required

*1-3 years experience in Network/Systems Administration with Linux and Windows environments (Linux is essential - 80% Linux, 20% Windows)

*VMware Experience

*Monitoring tools (Check_Mk/Nagios, Cacti);

*Virtualization Technologies (VMware 5/6 & KVM);

*Veeam Backup and Replication;

*Firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortigate, F5 Big-IP, Linux IPTABLES);

*Networking (Cabling, VLAN, TRUNK, routing, DNS, DHCP, Cisco Wireless, etc);

*SAN (Dell, HP), NAS (Synology, Qnap etc);

*Cisco/Dell Switches;

*MS Windows 7/10;

*MS Windows 2008/2012 Server;

*Active Directory 2008/2012 & GPO (Group Policy);

*MS Exchange 2013;

*MS Office 2010/2016;

*CentOS/RHEL 6/7 Linux;

*Ubuntu Desktop/Server Linux;

*End User Device Security, Encryption;

*Hardware: HP/Dell/Microsoft laptops, HP/Dell/IBM servers
