Job Description

* Great opportunity to join a Data team within a global technology division
* This an exciting role focused on application development using some of the market leading technologies such as Scala, Big Data, Apache Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Shark, Spark etc
* Agile Methodology

Required

* Strong Scala or Java development skills
* Experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop
* SQL Programming Competency - RDBMS
* Strong understanding of software build/ release mgmt.
* Self-Starter
* Familiarity with RDF and SPARQL
