Cyber Security Manager
Salary €80,000
An opportunity has arisen within my clients' IT department to come on board as a Cyber Security Manager. The Cyber Security Manager will report directly to the Operations Director and the correct individual will have a strong understanding of both cyber security and IT security.
You will be primarily responsible for the implantation and management of IT Security needs delivering projects for the larger organisation. You will have previous experience in a similar position and also have some understanding of GDPR.
As a Cyber Security Manager you will:
* Identify all security risks and emerging threats
* Develop security policies and documentation inline with the group IT security policy
* Monitor and analyse the IPS and IDS responses
* Adhere to ISO compliance standards
* Liaise with clients to outline security and data protection services
* Constant management of IT Risk profile and vulnerability management of the organisation
What you will have:
* 5+ years experience in IT Security
* Experience working with GDPR
* Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or similar
* Background in developing an IT Security posture within medium to large scale organisations
* Incident response and mitigation exposure
* Strong documentation skills
* SIEM and Log Management
* Understanding of technical terminology such as Servers, Data Centres and Disaster Recovery Plans, Identity, and Access Management, Pen Testing & Vulnerability Management
