Senior Java Developer - Contract

Java Developer / Senior Java Developer required for an excellent contracting role in Dublin. The role requires a senior engineer to help migrate a web platform into a scalable software solution.
This is a completely greenfield project and the initial part of the role will involve planning, designing and POC work. The role will be based within a small team as part of a large web based organisation.
There is a lot of scope for the technologies to be used in this project and you will be able to make recommendations on how to best approach problems.

Desired Skills / Experience

* 5+ years Java development experience
* Strong understanding of OO design, principles, architecture etc.
* Ideally experience building enterprise applications from the ground up.
* Strong experience working across the Spring framework
* Strong understanding of REST API architectures
* Experience working with Git or similar
* Expereince working with cloud technologies - NoSQL & AWS
* Exposure to web tech such as PHP would be nice but not essential
