Data Analyst Big Data

Here at Principle we have an urgent requirement for an Experienced Data Analyst Big Data to join the team of a major energy provider. We are looking for someone with a solid background in Analytics Development specifically on the Hadoop platform

As the Data Analyst, you will be the development lead and will lead a team in the development of BI solutions and the design and development of new applications. Further to this will be preparation of reports and the management of weekly and monthly meetings with both internal teams and the stakeholders

Background

* Solid commercial experience as a Data Analyst
* Strong background in Data warehouse / Data mart development experience.
* Experience of BI development or analytics experience with Hadoop platform.
* Experience programming with Hive/Pig Hadoop language
* Hands on programming experience with one or more of the following Java, Python, Scala
* Extensive experience with the design and implementation of BI/ETL architecture using SSIS
