Our client's software is primarily built on the JVM and exposes rich RESTful APIs that are consumed by their native mobile clients, single page web apps and customer tech. The backend technologies include: Spring-Boot and much of the Spring stack interacting with datastores like MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and Elasticsearch. They build, automate and deploy with Gradle, Gulp, Ansible, Docker. Thry have supporting tools written in Python, Bash and Groovy.

* Ensure correct logging and priority of customer issues
* Taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to completion
* Diagnosing and fault information gathering
* Working with both the development team and customers to quickly identify root causes
* Enhancing our existing delivery and support methodologies
* Document common issues for education purposes and for feedback into the product road-map
* Managing our internal instances both on site and in AWS

Ideal candidate will have excellent Linux / scripting knowledge and experience supporting JVM based languages - java, groovy, kotlin, clojure. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong problem solving skills and will need the ability to work independently and take initiative. Additional desirable skills would be Maven / Gradle experience, LDAP / Active Directory knowledge, experience with AWS environment management and experience with Jira.
