With operational areas across Europe and primary bases in Ireland, the UK, Belgium and Poland, Grafton Merchanting ROI’s group is a significant player in the builder’s merchanting industry and a leader in Ireland and the UK. They are now looking for an IT Trainer to join their team.

As an IT Trainer, you will develop and deliver training programs to users of Grafton Merchanting ROI’s IT solutions.

Reporting to the IT Development Manager, you’ll maintain, update and improve existing training courses, as well as creating new training modules to support the roll-out of new technologies and advance the usage of existing solutions.

You will create high quality documentation to agreed deadlines. Additionally, you’ll challenge the IT Solution Teams to ensure that high quality products are delivered on an ongoing basis.

Interested? To be considered, you will need:

- Experience of delivering IT training to small groups and an aptitude for training and imparting information to mixed IT ability groups
- A JEB, QQI Level 6 or similar qualification OR Train the Trainer qualification
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and Office 365
- A third level qualification
- The willingness to travel to company sites

Self-motivated and adaptable, as an IT Trainer, you’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You’ll also be a creative thinker with great problem-solving abilities and the desire to expand your skill-set.

Ideally, you will be a Microsoft Office Specialist or Microsoft Certified Trainer, but this is not essential.
