My client is on the lookout for a Java Developer to join their team in Letterkenny. Below is an outline of the role for you to asses. The role:

• As a Java Developer you will be responsible to maintain the Java and 3rd Party applications
• Participate in the architecture and system design of J2EE web applications
• Working as Java Developer you will work in a team environment with business, frontend design, engineering support and QA analysts to deliver a project throughout the whole software development cycle
• Keep up to date with new technology development and implementation
• The perfect Java Developer will work in a team environment with business, engineering support and QA analysts to deliver a project throughout the whole software development cycle

Experience required:
4 years hands on development experience with Java/J2EE
Java Developer with web development experience, working with Struts, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, JSON & JQuery
Strong JavaScript
Knowledge a scheduler application
Java, JSP, XML
Experience at troubleshooting customer issue
Experience using RAD and Visual Studio
Knowledge of installing to Windows operating systems; windows XP to present
Knowledge of Tech Support build and deployment process – ability to use their generic scripts
Java Developers with certification is preferred
Experience with leading open source frameworks and development of web services
