TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client, is seeking applications for a Senior Project Engineer to join their Technical Team.

Our Client is a reputable IT Services Company with a strong customer portfolio. They are seeking a Senior Project Engineer for their Technical team.

Role

The Senior Projects Engineer  will be a hands-on senior engineer, ideally with IT           managed services experience, who will be delivering projects and providing escalated (3rd Level) support. This person must be leader who can guide and lead other more junior engineers.
You should be able to scope out infrastructure projects, develop a task list / plan and execute that plan without supervision. The ability to communicate to the customer and the internal team is essential. You should also be able to assist with pre-sales, oversee other projects (delegate tasks to others) and provide L3 escalated support as required.

You should also have proven experience taking complete ownership of projects. (Servers, Cloud, Networks, Security (Fortinet preferred), Virtualisation (HyperV, VMware)

Skills  

*Strong technical capability to Level 3

*Ability to work closely with customers/internal teams to ensure successful delivery of IT Projects

*Strong communication skills

*Strong Project delivery skills

*MSCE or equilvalent certification

*Security qualification (Fortinet preferred)

*Strong Commercial awareness

*Strong Customer-Facing skills, excellent communication skills

*Must be a self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.

*Candidates must have a full clean Irish drivers licence and car (company vehicles are also available).
