Network Security Engineer - Cork

Description

My client is currently seeking to hire a strong Network Security Engineer that has in depth knowledge of IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Proxy's, VPN's, remote access. You will be working on security controls ensuring the safeguarding of the organisation's computer networks and information systems.

You will also be required to address senior individuals within the company and brief them on the impact that potential security breaches could have on the organisation.

As Network Security Engineer you will:

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in Networking
* Working knowledge of enterprise networks in both the physical and virtualised environments
* Experience working with Pal Alto networks equipment
* Expertise in Network Security solutions
* Cisco relevant accreditation (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE) etc
* Cloud Security infrastructure background, preferably hybrid
* Strong troubleshooting experience
