Support Engineer

Based in Dublin, they require a Support Engineer with at least 2 years' experience in Deskside Support in a busy environment, and excellent client facing abilities. In this permanent role, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting internal users, as well as some clients remotely.

What will a general day involve?
* Oversee and maintain company-wide Data Center technology.
* Support network teams with day to day LAN and Wan administration and monitoring.
* Work with 3rd Party Vendor support on Hardware and Software issues.
* Resolve issues in the Server estate.
* Operate and deploy server virtualization, including, but not limited to: Linux, VMware, Microsoft, & various external Cloud vendors
* Educate & train business unit staff as required.
* Assist the Data Center change processes such as approval and implementation of new DC infrastructure.
* Support product development, architectural design and operational support of new and existing technologies.
* Provide level 2 and 3 technical support to the IT team.
* Identify and automate repetitive tasks.
How can I stand out from the crowd?
* At least 2 years' experience Deskside Support in a busy environment.
* Office 365 experience.
* 1+ years remote support experience.
* Familiar with VMware and working knowledge of VOIP.
* Strong Client Facing skills.
